// Who is ANSHU?

Hi! I’m a fourth-year Civil Engineering student at the University of British Columbia with a strong focus on structural analysis, seismic reliability, and sustainable infrastructure design. My academic, research, and professional experiences have allowed me to explore advanced computational methods such as finite element analysis (FEA), nonlinear structural analysis, and sensitivity studies to evaluate the performance and reliability of structural and seismic systems.

Alongside my structural projects, I’ve also developed a foundation in fluid mechanics and transportation engineering, applying computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and simulation-based approaches to improve system efficiency, safety, and resilience. I’m especially passionate about integrating data-driven design, programming, and machine learning into civil engineering to develop smarter, more adaptive infrastructure.

My career so far has been a rich tapestry of experiences — spanning structural modelling, transportation research, fluid mechanics, telecommunication, and application development. These diverse opportunities have shaped a versatile skill set and a deep appreciation for the balance between creativity and engineering rigor. They’ve strengthened my ability to bridge theory with practice and collaborate across disciplines to solve real-world challenges.
